At first I didn't realize that you had to take a piece off for the large lids, so when it arrived, I was very excited to try it out, so I tried to seal a large lid jar and it wouldn't seal, so I had to stop and read the instructions lol.
That clearly stated how to separate to fit. Once I did that I tried it again and it works great.

I went around the kitchen, repacking different bags of stuff sitting around, like dried beans, rice, nuts, granola, fresh cauliflower I cut off the stem. It was fun collecting everything and sealing them all. Now I’m getting ready to make mason jar salads and meals to seal. I’m a canner, and always loved seeing all my processed food in the pantry. Now it’s time to clean out my fridge to make room for lots of nice little jars, all lined up.

I bought two of these last fall and gave one to my daughter for Christmas. I have used mine countless times and have loved it. Recently, the battery stopped charging. So I contacted the company, anticipating a negative response (I’ve had a few problems with other companies). Much to my delight, customer support is wonderful! I followed their instructions to resolve my issue, which at first I thought were a bit involved, but well worth it. They are honoring my warranty and sending out a new device this week! Very easy to use. We use it primarily for small fruits, such as blue berries, raspberries, etc. We like to have a variety on hand, but they would start getting moldy after just a little while. By using the Mason Genie, we've been able to keep a good supply on hand. Keeps them fresh. Other nice things about the Mason Genie is how quiet it is, easy to use, and compact. I keep it right next to the refrigerator for easy access

I ordered two more then realized I think you sent me a $5 off coupon which I did not apply and I've been telling people about it but I just ordered it today and I kind of feel sick about it because it's a lot of money and it could have gone money could have gone towards my markers but I love the product I did have one little issue is like I forgot that I hadn't taken the little section out and I actually got a large lid stuck in it and I had to get that out but it's worked great so far I took one to work I have one at home and I ordered two more so that I'm going to mark it so I don't have to keep taking out the rubber to do little or big cuz I have a lot of jars at home of different sizes of lid but I've been taking my salads and stuff at work in the jar I also have half gallon jars to reseal so anyway it's worked great

It was so easy. I loaded a Ball jar with brown sugar, followed the directions and it was sealed. Celery is going to be next! Those are the 2 items I have to throw out because I don't use them often enough. What a great product!

I have started to dehydrate my herbs and food from our garden. I needed a way to preserve them. I admit, I bought a want to be jar sealer (not Mason) because I didn’t want to spend $50.00. I sent it back the day I tried to use it. Then spent the money for the “real” mason jar sealer. Works great. What a great invention.

It works great to seal up those jars and it kept my strawberries and raspberries fresh for a week, until I used them. My only concern is that prying it off after it seals is quite a chore. I always have to grab something like a silicone piece to pull it off. But otherwise, works well.

Have only used It twice. Once to seal a large chocolate piece and then used it on some left over spaghetti sauce. Both in the fridge as I did not believe the sauce should sit on the counter. Created a great seal and have resealed the choco once without any problems. Working fine.

The Mason Genie is amazing! No longer will I have to throw out millet or cornmeal because I don't use it often and it has gone bad. We love one brand of salsa so much that we buy it by the case; however, a half jar sitting in the fridge will start to mold after a couple of weeks. With the Mason Genie, that will no longer happen! So excited to be less wasteful and save some money.
