I was VERY pleasantly surprised by how well the Genie worked! I now have my brown sugar, powdered sugar, several home-made soup mixtures, and rice, all in vacuumed sealed jars. I need to get more jars, and keep on sealing. It's literally an item I'll NEVER regret buying! And the supporting emails they keep sending to help me use their product, are exceptional. I initially purchased my Mason Genie in response to my first case of bugs in my cupboards after living here for 20+ years. I had seen the ads for the Mason Genie online and was trying to decide if I should get one. Discovering those bugs made up my mind and I bought one the same day! While waiting for the Mason Genie to arrive, I ended up cleaning out my cupboards completely, tossing the old dry goods and all things expired. I gathered mason jars of various sizes, and once my Mason Genie arrived, began filling and sealing all things new. My cupboards have never looked so clean and organized. I love knowing things will stay fresh and safe from anymore bug invasions! Best money I've ever spent!! PS: I've also gifted several Mason Genies to friends.

It's just so convenient to store smaller items instead of breaking out the sealer. Which i use for when purchasing meat. I am loving it and have sealed my fresh baby spinach for the first-time. I've stored mushrooms and I am impressed with how fresh they are...not slimey at all.

This device worked perfectly right out of the box- I’ve sealed jars with nuts, flours, rice, crackers, all sorts of different things. It’s worked perfectly. I haven’t tried it on fruits or liquids yet but so far I’m extremely pleased

I used it for the first time yesterday to seal some dried cranberries and some lunchmeat. Both the large and small heads to seal worked great. The first time I tried to seal the smaller jar, the lid came back off. Apparently the gasket was not seated properly in the genie, and after adjusting it, the jar sealed properly. Fortunately I had watched a video in one of the ads that told me that so I knew what to look for. The paperwork that comes with the unit does not give any instructions regarding charging the unit first, but the videos do. That should be included with instructions in the box.

So much easier than my bag vacuuming system! Most of my dried goods are in jars now - beans, rice, oats, etc. Produce is incredible. Grapes blueberries and strawberries all lasted 1.5 weeks longer. (I jarred half with Mason Genie and left the rest in original packaging). Great for school lunches!

WOW! Where have you been all my life! Mason Genie is an amazing helper in preserving fruits and vegetables. I have used it for all kinds of fruits like avacadoes, blueberries, strawberries and grapes. Vegetables I have used the Genie with include lettuce, celery and even onions! But the best part of Mason Genie......helping the environment by not using storage bags anymore. Such a waste going into landfills and hurting our beautiful Earth. Mason Genie is amazing and I highly recommend!!

I was a bit skeptical at first, but because i was so sick of throwing out food especially the likes of half an avo, I thought I would give it a try. I am really pleased with the results. I had half an avo in a jar for more than a week, pulled it out scraped off all the dried flesh to reveal beautiful green well preserved flesh underneath. So it was a big win for me thankyou so much. As I live on my own this is a huge breakthrough. I bought two and gave one to my daughter.

The best vacuum reading I can get with this is 86%. I've cleaned the lids and the rim of the jar, but that is the best it will do. I'm a little disappointed after spending $60 for this.

I was shocked when I received my Mason Genie. It actually worked as advertised. I use it at least every other day. My only complaint would be that the charging cord could be a few inches longer.
